Defination: A kind of mechnical device installed between casing and work for centering casing.

Usage

A. Strengthen the casing, keep the casing centered, and ensure the even distribution of the annulus cement ring.

B. Prevent the casing from sticking in the high permeability formation, ensuring that the casing enters the well smoothly.

C. Reduce casing penetration resistance and reduce casing wear.

D. Scrape the loose mud on the well wall and improve the cement quality of cement and formation.

Classify

There are three kinds of casing centralizer, which are bow spring type, rigid type and positive type. Bow spring centralizers are consist of single bow centralizer and double bow centralizer, rigid centralizers are consist of regular type and roller type.
